About the Association
The Hearts of Egypt Association was established in 2001 with great and effective efforts from a group of prominent figures in society, whose love for their country and their love for charity led them to contribute to eliminating the waiting lists for heart patients, headed by Prof. Dr. Nashwa Al-Hajrasy (Previously Head of the Intensive Care Department at the Heart Institute and Head of the Cardiology Department at Misr University for Science and Technology). This non-profit medical, scientific, service association was established to care for children and adults who are unable to afford it. The association also carried out a project to eliminate rheumatic fever, which causes the most heart problems for children, in 2008-2015.
